Elon Musk declared in 2020 that he would "sell almost all physical possessions" to focus on inventing electric automobiles, building rockets, and managing his other enterprises, according to The Cool Down.
As a result, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX sold all of his assets and moved to Boca Chica, Texas, to a rented home near SpaceX's research and testing facilities.
In a tweet on social networking site X, Musk's biographer Walter Isaacson gave a behind-the-scenes look into the world's richest man's humble home.

In the photo's caption, he said, "Musk decided to sell his five grand houses and to have as his primary residence this spartan two-bedroom house in Boca Chica, TX, where we would meet and he would sit at this wood table and make phone calls."
The photograph depicted a part of Musk's living room and a simple open kitchen. A enormous man's jacket is slung over one of the dining chairs in the kitchen, and a wooden coffee table sits in the centre of the living room.
Isaacson stated that in his new book, Elon Musk, due out on September 12, he will examine why the entrepreneur opted to throttle back.
