The start of a new year signals the commencement of the Tournament of Roses. On New Year's Day, the 135th Rose Parade begins in Pasadena. On Monday morning, flower-covered floats, equestrian troops, and marching bands will parade down Colorado Boulevard. The parade will be followed by a Rose Bowl game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Michigan Wolverines in 2024.
The 2024 Grand Marshal is Audra McDonald, a Tony and Grammy Award-winning artist. David Archuleta, James Burton, Rush Davis, Amanda Shaw, Sean Ardoin, Cassadee Pope, Alexander Star, Straight No Chaser, Jordin Sparks, and Michelle Williams will all play at the Rose Parade.
