The Rock will team up with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns to fight Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 on April 6.
The contest between Rhodes and Rollins on night one of the two-day event will decide if The Bloodline, a villainous professional wrestling stable, would be barred from ringside on night two of the main event bout between Reigns and Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
If The Rock and Reigns win, it will be Bloodline rules, which means The Rock will do "everything" to prevent Rhodes from winning the championship.
The "biggest tag team match" between Rhodes and Rollins was officially confirmed on Friday's "Smackdown". Rhodes voiced his desire for a match against The Rock, and Rollins offered Rhodes his support if such a match occurred.
The conditions were first proposed by The Rock.
Fans anticipated a WrestleMania bout after The Rock appeared to confront Reigns at WWE's premier event, despite Rhodes winning the 2024 Royal Rumble and naming Reigns as his WrestleMania opponent.
