Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, will be out for their Christmas Day game.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Jacobs will miss the Raiders' Week 16 game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a nagging quad injury and illness.
Zamir White, Ameer Abdullah, and Brandon Bolden are the available tailbacks for the game in Las Vegas.
Jacobs appeared in 13 games in 2023, gaining 805 yards on 233 rushes and scoring six touchdowns while also catching 37 passes for 296 yards.
Those totals trail his 2022 totals, when he had a league-high 1,653 running yards, but he remains a threat to break 1,000 yards for the fourth time in his career if he puts together a string of strong performances.
White, Abdullah, and Bolden have a total of 51 carries for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Monday is an opportunity for the depth to show what it is capable of against a tough divisional opponent.
The Raiders and Chiefs will face off at 1 p.m. E.T.
